We just finished closing on a home in Cape Coral, FL with the help of "The Sheets Team". Brenda and Marty Sheets were incredibly helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable throughout the process. Even Hurricane Irma and the fact we were in Michigan didn't slow them down. We had some critical needs for a home due to two family members in wheelchairs. I let them know what we needed and Brenda began rounding up homes within our price range and certain needs. Literally within minutes we had some homes to choose from. Brenda's and Marty's connections with services and other crucial entities was very impressive. Brenda steered us down the correct path with links to information and by making several calls herself. Marty set up all the paperwork and communicated them via email. Most of the forms and fees were handled by electronic signatures and payment. It was amazingly easy, safe, and fast. Brenda and I "visited" homes together via FaceTime. She was very clear with her analysis and knew what to look for. I was satisfied I knew the home with each "walk-through". When we found the house that suited us, so did a few others. Offers were made and with Brenda's guidance and quickness, we were able submit the offer that satisfied the seller and was well within our budget. We had an accepted offer, inspections, and closing date - all within hours. The electronic signing and their experience paved the way. I traveled to Cape Coral for an inspection and Brenda had lined up a contractor to meet with me to help with the wheelchair accessibility issues. Brenda also lined up an insurance agent, a "Homeowners Shield" which covers items in the home for a year, the closing agents, as well as others we might need to make our move as smooth as possible. I can only imagine how much time and anxiety this saved us. A few days later Irma hit and I was back at home waiting to hear the report. Although they were trapped in their subdivision without power, trees down, and water everywhere- Brenda was in touch and giving me all the information she could. Two days later she called me from the home to report on it. Good news for us but our hearts went out to the people around the area who did not fare well. Soon I will make a trip to our new home to begin some renovations for wheelchairs and to set up furniture. Again, Brenda has things in place for me and will be waiting to help. I contacted her and she went right to work. The property went active on 12-20-22 and we had an offer on 12-23-22 and closed on 1-6-23! I am not sure what to say and where to start from when it comes to recommending Brenda as a Realtor. I have never and I repeat never have come across an individual who works on Commission basis, and once the commission is pocketed, would think of the client any more for the rest the life. "My wife and I would like to commend the services of Brenda Sheets. We first met Brenda in January of 2017 while looking at residences in the Fort Myers area. We worked mostly with Brenda. We were new to Florida looking for a permanent home in 2013. We called many realtors but because of our lower end budget of $125K our calls were not returned. Brenda had no problem working with us and found many properties for us to see that were within our budget or under budget. She was professional, friendly, busy - but never too busy to return our calls promptly or answerour concerns within a timely manner. Brenda walked us through the closing process for the state of Florida. She also gave us much information of where to go, who to talk to and what to see within Ft. Buying and/or selling a house can be stressful and confusing - especially as a single gentleman completely new to a community. These challenges are particularly applicable to Florida’s residential market in 2022! In this seller’s market, people are no longer people!! Sellers and their agents seem quite indifferent … you are merely just another customer! So get in line! Fortunately, I never felt like this with The Sheets Team when I recently considered buying a house in the Fort Myers / Naples area. First, let me describe my respect for how Sheets truly acts like a “team”. When I suddenly had the green light to buy a home, and was driving to Fort Myers, Brenda Sheets immediately made time for me to visit a home - that Friday evening 30 minutes after I arrived! Despite another buyer (i.e. a couple from up north) flying into Fort Myers to buy that weekend, I found it reassuring both Brenda’s husband and their son are also on The Sheets Team. As a team … they immediately made time for me that weekend! I also found it reassuring Sheets actually made time to understand my desires and my preferences by interactively viewing their impressive technology, which actively tracks current market activities (e.g. homes for sale, homes with an offer pending).
